  • Message content

1.2 Mobile Application

When using the Grimoire application, we collect:

User Account:

  • Email address (required for account creation)

Usage Data:

  • Magic formulas created and stored by you
  • Synchronization and backup data
  • Metadata associated with your formulas (creation dates, modifications, categories)

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

  • Respond to your questions and requests via the contact form
  • Ensure the application functions properly (authentication, storing your formulas)
  • Improve the application based on user feedback

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Retention

Web forms: Submissions are retained as long as necessary to respond to your request

User account: Your data is retained as long as your account is active

Magic formulas: Retained until you delete them

Technical logs: Retained for 7 days (168 hours), then automatically deleted

You can delete your account and all your data at any time. See Section 6 “Your Rights (GDPR)” below for detailed information about the account deletion process.

4. Hosting and Security

4.1 Website

The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages with secure infrastructure and SSL/TLS certificates.

4.2 Mobile Application

Server and database: Hosted on a Hetzner VPS located in Germany (European Union)

Distribution: The application is distributed via Google Play Store

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, modification, disclosure, or destruction.

5. Third-Party Services

The following third-party services may process your data:

  • Web3Forms - Processes website form submissions
  • Cloudflare Pages - Hosts the website
  • Hetzner - Hosts the application server and database
  • Google Play Store - Android application distribution
  • Google (Gemini API) - Processes text you submit through the AI-assisted content import feature, for the sole purpose of generating formatted content on your request. Under the terms applicable to our use of this service, submitted content is not used by Google to train its models. Prompts and responses are retained by Google for a limited period, solely to detect and prevent violations of its Prohibited Use Policy, and are processed under Google’s Cloud Data Processing Addendum for Data Processor Products.

These services comply with European data protection regulations.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

Right of access: You can request a copy of the data we hold about you

Right to rectification: You can request correction of inaccurate data

Right to erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can delete your account and all associated data at any time

How to delete your account:

  • In the app: Profil > Delete Account (immediate deletion)
  • By email: Send a request to drk_ssk@proton.me (processed within 30 days with email confirmation)

What gets deleted:

  • Your email and account credentials
  • All your magic formulas and spells
  • All metadata (categories, creation dates, modifications)
  • Cached data and preferences

Note: Technical logs are retained for 7 days (168 hours) after they are generated, then automatically deleted. During that period, they may be used for security and legal purposes (fraud prevention, abuse detection) as permitted by law.
